About P7
The Precinct 7 Neighbors Network (P7 for short) is a non-partisan civic organization dedicated to creating a vibrant, safe, and inclusive environment for all residents in Greenfield MA’s Precinct 7. We foster connections, organize events, and share important updates to keep everyone informed and engaged. Whether you’re new to our part of town or a lifelong resident, your voice matters in shaping our community’s future. Here are just a few of our network’s objectives:
• Bring neighbors together to celebrate living in the neighborhood
• Create a positive forum to discuss wants and needs.
• Increase the sense of belonging and social connections through participation in neighborhood events and meetings.
• Forge partnerships with local elected officials and county staff. This leads to staying better informed about government projects in and around the neighborhood.
• Develop neighborhood-based solutions which address resident concerns, issues, and needs.
• Promote communication in the neighborhood and keep residents well-informed and connected about what is going on.
• Encourage voter turn-out.
• Develop consensus and build the foundation for neighborhood priorities by developing buy-in from neighbors regarding potential solutions for concerns, issues, and problems.

We’d love you to join us
P7 neighbors get together once a month on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm. The locations vary, but the format is the same: bring a bag lunch, mix and mingle, and then participate in the agenda which includes guest speakers followed by open discussion and planning. Stay for a little, stay for a while … Whatever suits your schedule!
Can’t make it to a meeting? Meet us online by visiting our Facebook Group page, or our Signal messaging groups. Participate in group chats, ask questions, post your favorite P7 photos and more.

FAQs
Is P7 affiliated with any political party?
No. One of our goals is to encourage voter turnout and participation in local government, but we focus on getting things done by tackling common goals in a mutually cooperative, non-partisan manner.
When was the P7 Neighbors Network formed?
Our first meeting was in February of 2024.
If I don’t live in Precinct 7, can I still attend meetings?
You are welcome to attend a P7 meeting as an observer — especially if you are interested in getting a similar organization going in your own precinct, or if your precinct abuts ours and you feel a certain kinship with our side of the street — but only residents can be voting members.
